@afallenheroofdestiny: In which they start an adventure… ill prepared

Asbel Lhant stood quietly in attention beside one of the wooden pillars that held up a sign. Across the old wood spelled the word “Casus” carved deeply on its surface; the name of the small quiet village.
He had come to the area by request of his country’s king, after they had apparently received a letter from the village seeking aide from neighbouring Kingdoms. Having no reason to refuse such a request, Asbel easily complied and left the care of Lhant to Bailey-although with close supervision of his younger brother.
The reddish brunet was quickly greeted by the village elders and was told the condition their people were in. The people of the village were suffering from a strange illness, one that was slowly petrifying the bodies of the infected and no common medicine or healing artes had worked. However, there had been stories in old historical documents that a particular item exists to cure such mysterious illnesses; the legendary relic “Mollicosate”.
After a long conversation about how the trouble first started, followed by much begging of desperation, Asbel accepted the task to seeking out for this particular item. On the up side… he would not be alone.
So here he was standing at the village entrance, nodding politely at every weary glance thrown by villagers passing by, and waited for this other person he was supposed to be travelling with.
