Asbel Lhant

@afallenheroofdestiny: In which they start an adventure… ill prepared

afallenheroofdestiny:

An annoyed look painted Judas’ face as he made his way back from one the elder’s homes in a relatively unknown village. Somehow and someway, a cretin blonde-haired hero had convinced the boy to go in his place to rescue the village from its current plight. Apparently, the other had been busy with other ‘duties’…whatever that meant. Frankly, he didn’t care, but he wasn’t too found of the idea of having to take his place, in fact, the idea just made him angry. It wasn’t his job and it really wasn’t his place to do so, but the village had gladly accepted his aid, which he was not nearly as glad to give.

The elder was blabbing away, though Judas didn’t care to listen until he heard the words ‘Oh and there’s someone else who is going to be going with you’. Great…This just gets better and better. If he didn’t owe something to said blonde than he would have left ages ago. The old man stopped in front of a reddish haired man dressed in mostly white waiting by the village’s sign post. He extended his hand in his direction.

“This is Asbel, the lord of  Lhant. Asbel this is Judas, he’ll be going with you,” The old man stated. Judas’ eyes shifted to the man, the annoyance in them was so painfully obvious after his long trip to get here and his being forced into accepting the task.

“Hello…” Judas’ voice competed with his eyes in its level of cruelty. “Let’s just get this over with…” He didn’t seem to care about the others rank. Hopefully, when they actually began this little adventure, he would be less angry about the situation. Hopefully…

Well, the person the elder had just introduced to him was definitely nothing he had expected to see. Or… uh… meet. The other member of this party was young…  The almost 7 inch difference in height was not an issue for the 20 year old, but that mask on the other hand… Or was that a helmet…?

What in the world was he wearing…?

“Hello.” Asbel finally responded with a polite bow, “It’s nice to meet you, Judas.  I hope we can get along.”

He then turned his attention to the elder and also gave him a small bow.  From the sounds of how the young man responded, he was probably the no-nonsense type.

“We’ll be heading out then, elder.  Please hold on a bit longer.” he glanced over to Judas once again, “Shall we?”
